Here are two ways to download You Tube Videos-
First, there is a free plug-in to the Firefox browser that makes this easy.

To get the plug-in for the browser, click here

The author of the Fast Video Download plug-in has a site here where you can also get it for free.
If you don't want to install anything, a second way is converting the files online and then saving them
using Convert Direct or Keep Vid.

To learn how to convert FLV files to MP4 files, click here.
Then, to learn how to extract the audio from an MP4, click here.
The audio files can then be loaded onto an Ipod.
