Dancing Bear is an acoustic duo
based in western Mass / Connecticut playing the folk, blues and country side of the Grateful
Dead/Jerry Garcia.
They are: Glenn Weiser, the author of several music books, a guitar
teacher and a writer for Metroland who plays guitar, banjo, and
harmonica, and Dave Danks, a former bandmate of Glenn's from the St.
Regis String Band who plays
mandolin, guitar, and string bass. Together they perform folk, blues,
and bluegrass classics covered by the Dead as well as select Dead originals.
